What this is

For operators, not advisors.

Three days, three tracks, one per day. Growth, monetization, automation.

Built for people treating their newsletter like a real business rather than a habit, with AI as the multiplier rather than the topic.

One filter matters more than any other here: you have to run a newsletter yourself. Advising newsletter operators isn't the same thing and the room can tell.

Who we're featuring

Newsletter operators who can teach a tactic, not just inspire. If you advise newsletter operators but don't run one yourself, this isn't the right fit.

Tracks we're filling

Three days. Grow, monetize, automate.

Sample topics, not a fixed menu. Pitch the tactic you actually run.

DAY 1October 19Pre-recorded

Growth

  • Paid acquisition: what a subscriber should cost
  • Lead magnets built with AI that actually convert
  • Collabs, swaps and borrowed audiences
  • Getting recommended by ChatGPT and Perplexity
  • Referral engines that run themselves
DAY 2October 20Pre-recorded

Monetization

  • Sponsorships: getting the first one and pricing it
  • The paid tier — what goes behind the wall
  • Affiliate revenue done without burning trust
  • Selling your own offer inside a newsletter
  • Revenue per subscriber and how to raise it
DAY 3October 21Pre-recorded

Automation & AI

  • The writing system that keeps your voice
  • Automating research, curation and drafting
  • Segmentation and personalization at small-list scale
  • Deliverability, list hygiene and sunsetting
  • The full newsletter stack, tools and cost
What you get

Four things on your side of the trade.

I

Your list grows, and you keep every name

Attendees claim your free gift from your own landing page. They opt in on your form. No exports, no gated leads, no waiting.

II

Commission on everything you refer

50% on the event pass and order bumps. 30% on membership products. Every buyer you send is tracked to you, not just the first sale.

III

A curated lineup, not a crowded one

No fifty-contributor rosters where everyone disappears. Fewer slots means more visibility per person.

IV

We run the event, you show up

You get plug-and-play email copy, social graphics, and your affiliate link. No funnel to build, no tech to wrangle.

Before you apply

We're selective, and we'd rather say so up front.

You're a strong fit if…

  • You run your own newsletter and can say its size and cadence
  • You'll teach a tactic rather than a philosophy
  • You can name the numbers behind what you're teaching
  • You have a free gift and a landing page you own

We're probably not a fit if…

  • You advise newsletter operators but don't run one
  • Your session is inspirational rather than tactical
  • You can't meet the recording deadline
  • You'd rather not email your list about it
The dates that matter

Three deadlines. That's the whole calendar.

I'm a digital product strategist, MBA professor, and the founder of Creator's MBA, a brand built around helping digital entrepreneurs build predictable, recurring revenue without chasing algorithms or grinding through launches.

I've been running virtual events for years — close to fifty of them across Creator's MBA and HobbyScool — and twelve more are on the 2027 calendar. I've been on the other side of the application, so these run the way I'd want one run: clear deadlines, real promotion, and you keep what you earn.

Before you ask

The questions contributors actually ask.

How big does my newsletter have to be?

There's no hard floor. What matters is that you run one and can teach something that worked on it.

Do I have to pay to contribute?

No. It's the opposite. You earn commission on everything your audience buys through your link - 50% on the event pass and order bumps, 30% on membership products.

Do I keep the subscribers?

Yes, and directly. Attendees go to your landing page to claim your free gift, so they opt in on your form and land on your list. We never gate your leads.

What if I don't hear back right away?

It usually means your topic didn't fit the lineup we were building at that moment. Your application stays on file and we search it every time we plan a new event.

Can I pitch a topic that isn't listed?

Please do. The topics on this page are examples of what we're after, not a fixed menu. The strongest applications usually teach something we hadn't thought of.

The application
